MISSION STATEMENT

At NIBcode Foundation, our mission is to address the technological knowledge gap among children. We are dedicated to providing community-based learning programs in Technology to ensure that all children have access to inclusive and equitable learning opportunities, especially those who face barriers to formal education. By leveraging community resources and involving local stakeholders, we aim to equip children with the tools they need to become independent and contribute to the economic growth and resilience of their communities.

Our OBJECTIVES

This project proposal delineates a comprehensive plan to tackle the issue of school children and teenagers by introducing community-based learning programs in Technology. Our goal is to offer education and learning opportunities in technology to children who are unable to access technology skills due to various barriers. By leveraging community resources and engaging local stakeholders, our project aims to ensure that every child has access to quality technology education, thereby promoting inclusive and equitable learning.

Our programs encompass a wide range of initiatives, including coding boot camps, technical workshops, mentorship programs, and hands-on projects. Through these activities, we endeavor to instill creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in our participants, enabling them to unleash their full potential and pursue sustainable careers in technology.

TARGET BENEFICIARY

The project will specifically focus on out-of-school children and teenagers in [target area/community], with a primary emphasis on children from marginalized backgrounds, including those residing in poverty-stricken and rural regions.

PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION

Community Engagement:

We are dedicated to ensuring adequate infrastructure, including classrooms, furniture, and sanitation facilities, to create a comfortable space for learning.

Teacher Recruitment and Training:

We are committed to recruiting qualified and passionate teachers from the local community to facilitate the learning programs. These teachers will receive comprehensive training on child-centered teaching methodologies, inclusive education practices, and effective classroom management techniques. Regular professional development sessions and mentoring will be provided to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Community Volunteers and Mentorship:

To further support the learning process, community volunteers will be recruited and trained to assist teachers and support the children's learning journey. These volunteers can include older students and community members with a passion for technology. Additionally, mentorship programs will be established to provide guidance and support to the children, helping them overcome challenges and build confidence.

Data Collection and Tracking: We are dedicated to implementing a robust monitoring and evaluation framework to meticulously track the progress and impact of the project. Regular collection of data on enrollment, attendance, learning outcomes, and other pertinent indicators will enable us to assess the effectiveness of our interventions.
